What if I already told you I can (or can't) come?
What do I wear? Will the ceremony & reception be outside?

For those who have let us know verbally, please formally RSVP via our website.
For those who previously filled out the questionnaire, please click on the RSVP link to confirm that you have provided a complete RSVP (we want to make sure we have your dinner order)!
Are kids welcome?
Our wedding will be a formal celebration! Women are welcome to wear cocktail dresses or evening gowns, while men may feel comfortable in a suit.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors overlooking the ocean. Early October weather in Maine can be unpredictable—it may be a sunny 70 degrees or a breezy 50. Since we’ll be on an island where it’s often windy, we suggest that women bring a light shawl to stay comfortable throughout the ceremony.

The reception will be held in the tent.
As much as we absolutely adore your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding a kid-free celebration. We hope this will allow all our guests the opportunity to relax, enjoy, and celebrate with us fully.
We hope that with advance notice, you will be able to make arrangements and attend. Please feel free to reach out if you need help with local babysitting options.
If you’re not able to make it, that’s alright, too! We’ll miss you, but will look forward to celebrating with you another time.
Are cars allowed on the Island?
Cars are not allowed on the Island, but you wont need one! The McKinley Grove tent site is located a short 5 minute walk from the Diamond Cove dock. Wedding signage will direct you to the tent site.
Shuttle and golf cart transportation will be available for our wedding guests throughout the night.
How do I get to the Island? Where do I stay?

What's the dress code for the welcome party? Will dinner be served?
There’s no specific dress code for the Welcome Party—please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! We’ll have light refreshments, but we recommend grabbing dinner in downtown Portland before joining us.​​
What if I have food allergies?
You are in great company! With many celiac's in attendance Mallory has made sure all allergies will be accommodated throughout the wedding. When you receive your formal invitation, please note your allergy while selecting your meal.

We will also ensure snacks can be enjoyed by all both at the welcome party, cocktail hour, and after party!​
